Even in its seventh generation, the Golf remains very much a box with windows. It has a more aerodynamic body but the only obvious changes are slimmer lights, a small sail window near the A-pillar, and a crease that runs through the doors. The S 1.8L TSI with a Front-engine, front-wheel drive, 5 passengers and a 5-door hatchback.

How Long Do Tires Last? A Question you must answer

Series of treadwear testing has shown that family-car tires can readily last 70,000 miles or more, as recorded last year based on evaluating 49 all-season models. This year, we evaluated ultra-high-performance tires, finding that ultra-high-performance tires can’t make half that distance. In fact, some tested UHP tires tested in western Nigeria showed wear that indicates they will last to just 25,000 to 30,000 miles. To matter matters worse, most summer tires made from Aboard don’t even carry warranties.

These findings underscore the value of looking at comparative treadwear life based on testing.

Which will you rather go for A-1999 Bosch on the left (Champion Labs), B-2008 Bosch on the right (Purolator).

In A-1999, this filter was made by Champion Labs. Looking at this filter again in B-2008 revealed it as a Purolator. While Bosch may manufacture their own filters in Germany, they contract other companies for sales in the US. Both are supposed have "Filtech" technology, but the filter element in each do not appear to be the same. They are more similar to the elements found in each respective manufacturer's filters. Perhaps "Filtech" is just a specification given to the manufacturer. Either way there is nothing obviously unique about the Bosch filter relative to any other Champion Labs/Purolator filter with the exception of the sil... Read more

DO YOU KNOW THESE PARTS OF YOUR CAR AND TELL THE DIFFERENCE?

To tell the difference between ebd, abs, esc and traction control, we must first understand what they are and what they do....
ABS is actually the most important of the lot in a way that it is the foundation of the other systems notably ebd and traction control.

Let's Start

ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System)
